Overview:

Delivered to primary and secondary schools in South Lanarkshire in collaboration with Scottish Screen. This innovative initiative used moving image to improve and enhance core skills in literacy, numeracy, critical thinking and encourage collaborative learning. The programme also involved the study and analysis of film and animation and encouraged the students to create their own short film and animation pieces.

All of the outcomes of the programmes reinforced the guidelines set out in the Scottish Executives ‘Curriculum for Excellence



The project provided pupils and teachers the opportunity to explore the possibilities of teaching and learning through the study of moving image. fps media is a company with a track record of providing high quality moving image projects and played a key role in the delivery of this project.
