Over the past 6 years fps media has delivered a range of educational programmes all varying in terms of content, style of delivery and outcome. Many of our programmes focus on encouraging inclusion and promoting citisenship while some are designed purely for fun! fps media personnel also have experience of working with young people with a range of social, emotional and behavioral difficulties as well as special educational needs.

At fps media all our training is delivered in a ‘hands on’ approach with the emphasis on learning through doing. Our training allows young people the opportunity to use industry standard equipment including stereo sound kits, non linear edit suites and advanced camera equipment such as crane, steadicam and tracking.

Many of the films and animations produced through fps media’s educational programmes have been successful in National and International Film Festivals. Achievements include finalists in The Co-operative Young Filmmakers Festival, The Chicago International Children’s Film Festival, Olympia International Film Festival (Greece), International Family Film Festival (California), East Lansing Children's Film Festival (Michigan).

fps media also provides work placement opportunities, mentoring, and careers advice to young people who are interested in pursuing a career in the media industry. We also organise screenings to showcase young talent and have recently launched a Young Scriptwriters competition with a digital camcorder up for grabs.
