‘Get Animated’ involved a group of young people from across North Lanarkshire producing an interactive DVD showcasing the Young Scot Smart Card. fps media worked with the young people over a 12 week period covering the various aspects of video production, animation and multimedia. The grueling production schedule saw the young film crew and actors filming at various locations across Lanarkshire including Strathclyde Park Water Sports Centre, The Aquatec and M&D’s Amusement Park. The DVD features a live action piece incorporating animation all of which was filmed and produced by the young people themselves. The DVD was launched to a rapturous response in September 2004.

The Get Animated project was launched at a glitzy premiere.
