Project: ‘Harry at the Zoo’
Overview:
An educational DVD on behalf of NHS Lanarkshire, aimed at highlighting the importance of good oral health and healthy eating.
This fun and informative animation was produced by fps media using artwork created by young people throughout primary schools in North Lanarkshire.
The DVD is now widely used by Oral Health Educators in schools and nurseries and has been nominated for a COSLA award.
The DVD is also endorsed and now distributed by the British Dental Health Foundation worldwide. Following the success of ‘Harry at the Zoo’ 2 further animations have been produced on behalf of NHS Lanarkshire.
We are delighted with the DVD as it provides an invaluable educational resource that entertains and engages young people while communicating an important message. We are also delighted that we could actively engage the young people in the production of the resource.
